Forwarding Emails - Erasing previous senders

Help!  When I forward emails I like to delete the email addresses and notes from the person that originally sent me the email. I have tried everything I can think of to edit the message I'm forwarding to remove that information.  It's gotten to the point where I don't forward emails at all from the myTouch Slide because I hate having that forwarded info left over giving my friends and family's emails to everyone.  PLEASE tell me there is a way to delete that info before sending out forwards?!!?!!
