I found reference to WhatGas on the web (http://www.androlib.com/android.application.com-whatgas-android-pCnC.aspx, but not in the market.

I'm looking for an app (preferably free) that will find the nearest cheapest diesel fuel, or gas...

Any ideas?

This is all I've seen so far. http://bubiloop.com/android-productivity-gasbot-v1-2-trial  There are plenty if you live in the UK.
